The Peacemaking Committee of New Castle Presbytery commends the following 31 churches for adopting the PCUSA Peacemaking Commitment. As part of this Commitment, churches take up an annual Peacemaking offering; and they are encouraged to send twenty five percent of this to their presbytery, twenty-five to synod, and twenty-five for General Assembly peacemaking projects. Twenty-five percent remains with the collecting church to fund local peacemaking initiatives. If your church is looking for local partners, consider working with another church on the list below, and ask the Peacemaking Committee about the kinds of local projects funded in the past.
