NCP Office Summer Hours: Please be advised that effective May 23 - August 29 the Presbytery office will be closed on Fridays. Normal hours of operation will resume on September 5th.

It is with deep sadness and regret that we inform you of the death of Deborah Elaine Taylor, sister of our Associate Executive Presbyter, Jackie Taylor. Deborah passed away on April 12, 2008, in Washington, DC. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC. Viewing is at 10:00 am, services will be held at 11:00 am. God Bless.

New Castle Presbyterian Church will be taking a group of youth to the Montreat Youth Conference in
2008 Camp/Conference Scholarships

The Leadership Development Unit will award a $100.00 scholarship to any youth under 18 who wish to attend a Christian-based camp or conference. A member congregation of NCP must be the sponsor of each applicant. All recipients will be asked to provide a brief report on their experience, such as a few sentences and a photo or two, which may be used in Presbytery communications. Photographs may be used on the Presbytery website. Payment will be made to the sponsoring church or directly to the camp or conference. A total of 50 scholarships will be available.
Scholarships for adults 18 and over to attend conferences will continue to be available. Applications should be made in writing to the Leadership Unit. Adult applicants will also be asked to provide a brief report and photo on their experience.

The Presbytery office has packets which are available to the churches from Heifer International and are the "Get it" Student Packs for middle school students grades 6-8. They are free of charge. Please contact Donna Scully at (302) 366-0595 or email dscully@ncpresbytery.org to arrange pick-up.
