Fourth field report from the mission team in Louisiana

At the work site the men were put up siding all day.  Notice the picture of what we accomplished:

Later in the afternoon we all attended the dedication ceremony of the house where Sara, Courtney, and Judy have been working the last two days.

See the picture with them pointing to the floor they had to clean:

The owner of this house is an elder at the Berean Presbyterian Church in New Orleans.  The other group continued their finishing work.  Special awards need to be given to Janet and Barbara because they have spent the last four days on their hands and knees scraping the grout off the floor.  Notice the picture to the right, with Barbara working on the floor.

Tonight several people went out to eat at the French Quarter while others of us decided we didn't need the crowds or slushing our way around downtown (we had some thunderstorms late this afternoon) so we went out to a seafood restaurant away from downtown.  For me I enjoyed being around those who have been working at a different work site than myself.  It has been a good day but I have to tell you I am tired.  We have been working hard.
